¡Hola! My name is Virginia, and on behalf of my team I would like to welcome you to our local branch office in Tenerife, the largest Canary Island.

Tenerife island combines world-class gastronomy with team-building activities, mild weather, excellent connectivity and high-quality infrastructure.

The team were fantastic to work with, very professional, responsive and always willing to assist. I look forward to be working with them in the future.

WHY TENERIFE

Spectacular nature

The unique climate of the island offers mild spring temperatures in all seasons. This makes it possible to organize open-air events throughout the year. This results in incredibly versatile options for event design.

The nature is breathtaking and can be enjoyed in all its facets. Whether you want to go up to the third-largest island volcano on the planet, the Pico del Teide and enjoy one of the spectacular sunrises o go whale watching along the coast in the south-west of the island in the wild – Tenerife simply offers everything.

Popular travel destination

For decades, Tenerife has been one of the most popular destinations with a strong economy and infrastructure. 350 tourists came to the island in 1885 for the very first time – a figure which is currently around 5 million a year. There is therefore a large selection of different accommodation and venues. For example the most famous landmark of the island, the “Auditorio de Tenerife” a concert and congress hall in Santa Cruz.

Two airports, one in the south, one in the north, provide a good connection to Europe and several ferries connect the islands of the Canaries.

Nature, sports and action

Before you go looking at the neighboring islands however – there is still much to discover on the largest and most populous island in the Canaries. The old town of La Orotava is a must for historical and artistic visitors and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The biggest water park in Europe can be found here, or the “Anaga” landscape park, where the famous and rare laurel forest grows.

The variety of excellent restaurants round off the overall impression. A multifaceted island where one can enjoy nature and leisure. With its professional experience and organization it offers every kind of event a great backdrop.

WHY MAXIMICE

With 10 local offices maximice events group is the largest owner-managed DMC in Spain, creating live, hybrid and digital events for its clients around the world. Founded in 2008 and led since then by Markus Müller and Juan M. Caldentey the company reflects the perfect combination of German engineering and Spanish passion. From the beginning we have been growing sustainably in terms of human resources, local branch offices, environmental awareness and financial security for our clients.

Today we are one of the most solid and trustful DMC’s in Spain. As your local partner our mission is to make event management in Spain easy for you! With our core team of 35 experts we provide a 360-degree service, always on-brief, on-time, and on-budget. From our head office in Mallorca, we coordinate our ten local offices and two specialized business units – MICE & Automotive.

All our actions are based on what we regard as the fundamental principles of fairness, loyalty, respect and transparency.

MICE

MICE is our business unit for incentives, meetings, team buildings, product presentations and more… For us, event management is much more than the mere handling of events or the stringing together of partial services. We wish to evoke emotions and turn your event into an activity that reaches further than the occasion itself and will remain as a memorable experience in the minds of all participants. We always endeavor to face this challenge with passion, creativity and the highest of quality standards.

AUTOMOTIVE

Our business unit AUTOMOTIVE understands the specific needs of car and motorbike launches, driving experiences, press and training events. In our 20 years of organizing these events for car manufacturers like Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Audi, BMW Mini, Ford and many more, we have grown good long standing relationships with the authorities, government and police – in addition to that our immense knowledge of scenic and secret routes or photo spots is second to none.

THE

MANAGEMENT

The native Aschaffenburger spontaneously ended up on Mallorca in 2002 – since then he calls the island his home. Markus is the thinker and driving force behind Maximice.

With his strategic and analytical skills and his passion for innovation and perfection, he always keeps the company on a successful course.

Besides coordinating our event team on German-language projects, he is responsible for the marketing, information technology and business development department.

Born in Palma de Mallorca and stemming from a family with a strong touristic tradition he brings that valuable touch of Mallorcan passion to our company. Juan Miguel is the heart and soul of Maximice.

Having studied Hotel Management and Food & Beverage, he began his career as a hotel manager before starting his own path with a very popular restaurant chain on the island.

In addition to coordinating our event team on English-language projects, he is in charge of Finance, Sales and Contracting.
